Abersea Engineering have designed, manufactured, installed & commissioned a BOP control system for a leading drilling contractor. All completed in only 5 weeks.
Due to the short yard stay and a growing scope of work in relation to the Jack-ups existing BOP Control system our client required a very quick turnaround. The system is fully API 16D compliant and was designed to be quickly retro fitted to the new BOP HPU. The system included two remote control stations, a local processing enclosure and sensor set.
The project itself shows the expertise we have in place and the ability to overcome design challenges and cut down time scales on work scopes. This requires working well as a team but also having everyone in the team playing their part to an exceptional standard.
